Our drone inspections are flown by FAA Part 107 certificated remote pilots.
About:
Commercial drone flights in the United States must be flown under the FAA's Part 107 rules by a pilot holding a Remote Pilot Certificate. Earning one requires passing the FAA's aeronautical knowledge test, which covers airspace, weather, flight operations and regulations. We use drones for thermal and visual inspection of arrays, which finds problem modules and hot spots faster than walking every row.
Why does it matter?
Inspections over your site are flown legally, with the airspace checks and safety planning the FAA requires. Our pilots complete the FAA's recurrent training every 24 months.
