Our field team includes credentialed solar O&M technicians.
About:
The Operations & Maintenance Associate Technician (OMAT) credential from NABCEP is built specifically for solar O&M field technicians. The exam covers safety, core PV knowledge, working on existing systems, and the operations and maintenance tasks technicians perform on residential, commercial and utility-scale arrays. Candidates qualify through a NABCEP-registered training course or at least six months of documented work for a solar company, then pass NABCEP's exam.
Our credentialed technicians:
John Schaefer, Vice President of Operations
Why does it matter?
Your array is serviced by technicians tested on the exact work O&M involves: working safely on an operating system, inspecting it, and keeping it producing. The credential renews every three years with 12 hours of continuing education.
